Our Research Interests

Our research focuses on implementing regenerative agriculture techniques and improving our understanding the complex soil ecosystems. We investigate traditional agricultural knowledge and indigenous soil management techniques to integrate them with modern approaches for a holistic approach to soil conservation. By examining the interactions between soil microorganisms, microrhyzae, plants, and nutrient cycles, we strive to develop innovative strategies that optimize soil health and restore degraded soils. Our research findings contribute to building resilient agricultural systems that support food security, climate change mitigation, and the preservation of Africa’s rich natural heritage.

COLLABORATION WITH CAMEROONIAN UNIVERSITIES

 

We foster collaborative partnerships with esteemed Cameroonian universities to promote knowledge exchange and academic cooperation in the research fields of soil health, regenerative agriculture, and soil ecosystems. Through these collaborations, we host research students from local universities, providing them with valuable opportunities to contribute to ongoing projects and gain practical research experience. Together, we work on joint research projects, leveraging the combined expertise and resources to address pressing environmental challenges, develop innovative solutions, and empower the next generation of African scientists in the realm of sustainable agriculture and soil science.
